Résumé

Fast Facts

What I’m looking for

I want to join a dynamic product engineering or developer efficiency team. I find user-facing work incredibly rewarding, whether it’s users of the product, or users of developer tools.

My professional background is packed with mobile experience, and lightly flavored with AI, web, and open source. I am exploring both mobile-centric and web-centric roles, prioritizing culture fit and product passion over technology. Early- or earlyish-stage companies are catching my eye most right now as a palette cleanser from my seven years at Asana, but I know good teams exist everywhere.

Marketable skills I have receipts for

Web technologies

I’ve used essentially every JavaScript build tool released since 2012 and worked in several transpiled-to-JS languages. I can do type system gymnastics with TypeScript and go deep on performance with browser dev tools. I’m extremely comfortable with CSS and SCSS, from floats to flexbox. I learned React back at version 0.1 (still up to date!) and I regularly do small side projects in Vue and SvelteKit.

I’m capable of writing basic web backends on my own. I wrote Browserboard, a web-based multiplayer whiteboard, in a combination of Python+Django, PostgreSQL, Node, and Vue.

At Asana, I used my web and mobile skills together to help the Content Experience team design and build a native/web hybrid text editor to support rich content features. I’ve written frontend and backend web code in TypeScript and Scala while at Asana.
